Stockholm Skavsta Airport welcomed 2.132.072 passengers in 2017, an increase of 5,1% compared to last year. There were more commercial aircraft movements (+3,3%) and load factors of the scheduled services grew from 82,3% to 83,6%.
A recent passenger survey indicated that the appreciation of visitors for the upgraded interior of the Terminal increased sharply, indicating improved passenger satisfaction for especially the upgraded food and beverage and retail facilities.
Managing Director Peter Steinmetz expressed satisfaction with the above result, stating that “for the 3rd consecutive year Stockholm Skavsta is showing increased numbers and a better passenger product. With more than 90% of our passengers travelling more than 1 hour to get to the airport, Skavsta is increasingly growing into a gateway for the greater Stockholm and East Sweden region. We will continue diligently to work to enhance our airlines base and the quality of the airport product.”

Remarque : L'aéroport est à 106 kms de Stockholm, et les liaisons avec la capitale sont assurées par la compagnie Flygbussarna qui relie l'aéroport à Stockholm (Centralen, ou gare centrale, et Gullmarsplan dans le sud de la ville) et à Norrköping/Linköping.
